2019 September 05 Thursday in Cutty’s, Grimes, Iowa
60° and mostly cloudy. It reached 85° and was still 80° at 8 p.m.
It was a interesting pre dawn sky. When dawn arrived, there was no sun to be seen. It didn’t arrive until around 9 o’clock.
Thursdays are the days that I check my INR (blood clotting factor). It was right where it is supposed to be. Any changes in my diet can so easily throw it off balance. So I am always happy to find it in the proper range.
Coffee at the clubhouse was cut short because Ella had a dentist appointment.
A tooth splintered over the weekend and this was the first day they could get her in. They did mouth nothing with the broken to tooth today. Instead, they cleaned her teeth. She goes in next week for whatever they do next.
For lunch we went to the International Buffet.
Before going home, we did some grocery shopping. We leave in around 20 days. So no stocking up unless it is something to take to Texas with us.
After getting home and the groceries were unloaded, I rebuilt the block wall around the outdoor fireplace. I didn’t take any photos. I’m not going to disassemble it for a photo opp. Tomorrow I may take some photos of the finished project.
God bless and g’nite
