2020 January 20 Monday MLK Day in Liberty Hill, Texas
gain I slept well and could have slept longer if the alarm had not awakened us. However, Ella had an appointment for a CT scan first thing today.
h yeah, freezing! Right here in this little section of paradise it dropped down to freezing over night.
e were on the road before sunrise this morning. At times it was difficult seeing the road because I was driving straight into the sun.
t was slightly after eight o’clock when we arrived at Austin Radiology Associates this morning. Ella had paperwork to complete. The appointment was for 8:40 however they were able to get her in at 8:25 and out by 10.
e were going to stop at IHOP for breakfast, but the parking lot was completely full. We decided on Hobo Junction instead. I decided to have a full order of their chicken fried steak. A full order fills a dinner plate, so the eggs, biscuit, and grits come on a separate plate.
ook at that huge white hot ball of fire as it balances atop the treeline.
God bless and g’nite
