Welcome to our daily journal! Send Mail to: TomAndEllaJournal@gmail.com

Day three of being self isolated because of the corona-virus.

here were some sprinkles this morning but no measurable rain that I could detect. However, the fog is still with us.

Day Three of Our Life During the Time of COVID-19.

We had bacon, homemade bread, omelettes (made with dehydrated whole egg powder.) We had purchased a two pound can of eggs a year ago with no other reason than to have it on hand, in case if emergency. With the run, this past week, on eggs at the stores. I’m thankful that we have it on hand. We do have eighteen fresh eggs and half a dozen pickled eggs. Frankly, while the powdered eggs don’t make the best tasting omelets, they’re better than not having any eggs.

washed the fresh fruit that we got the other day. I know, I know that we should always wash them anyway, but in normal practice, we don’t. But we will.

also cleaned the canned goods (that Ella had not put away) with sterile wipes. I had intended to wipe all of them, but Ella was putting them away while I was still making trips to the truck and back.

e played many games of Fast Track today. Ella won some and I won some. It is always a pleasant way to pass the time.

Also, we walked several times around the campground. It’s small and doesn’t take long. By the way, Google Maps hasn’t updated this for four or five years.
