Saturday
In Liberty Hill, Texas
Welcome to our daily journal.
At seventy six degrees, before daybreak, it appears as though it is headed toward another too-hot-to-go-outside day. It topped out at eighty nine about three thirty. That’ll do.
“Sunrise” was a study in grays this morning. I have to keep checking to see if the charcoal rubbed off into my hand.

What are y’all doing to escape the everyday sameness? I love the game Fast Track. But even that becomes repetitious after a while. Netflix, Prime video, and YouTube are running out of things that interest me.I‘m reading a couple of books. For Sunday school, I’m reading Adam Hamilton’s “Making Sense of the Bible.” I’ve read a lot of his books and this is my favorite.I need to find an new science fiction series of books. Any suggestions? This will be the first Memorial Day Sunday, for a long, long time, that I haven’t preached. Memorial Day through Labor Day I normally preach at Cutty’ s Des Moines Campground. Not only am I not preaching, we aren’t even in the campground. We’re staying in Texas until I feel safe to travel.
Well, despite all the sunshine during the day, sundown looks a lot like sunup did. Thanks again for stopping by. Share this with your friends. See y’all again tomorrow. Stay safe. Remember, we love you.
- God bless and g’day.
