Welcome, family and friends, to our daily journal. Share it with your friends. It is a way of remembrance for us and a point of connection for you.

  • Distant fog obscured the hills this morning and left the sky a shade of white trending toward grey.

There was a brief but might rain come through around 11:30 a.m. However, it must have had an appointment elsewhere, for it tarried not.

Ella re-posted from Lorelai’s mother:

Almost 2 years ago our sweet little Lorelai, (great granddaughter) who already had so much going on health-wise with diabetes, started getting chest pains. It took a few months to figure out she had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. We tried a medication for awhile but inevitably decided on surgery. Last August we took her to Iowa City to the University Of Iowa (I can not say enough good things about her Cardiologist & Staff there – they were absolutely wonderful!) for heart surgery to correct the tachycardia.

Today she had her one year follow up. We are happy to report that she has been released from the care of the cardiologist. She does not have WPW syndrome any more and the surgery was successful!

Seems weird to announce a year later but, if the surgery didn’t take, she would have had symptoms again within the first year post surgery. We are so so so very happy with this news!

Praise God! It is so good to have uplifting news Thank You Father for the healing of Lorelai. We give You all the honor and glory. ~Amen~

God bless and g‘day.
