We had English muffins, bacon, eggs, and tangerines for breakfast

Our Sunday school class is still meeting in the chapel. I had asked Gary to facilitate for the two Sundays that I anticipated being gone. I had hoped that he would take this week, even though Ella and I were back. However, he asked more to do so. So I did. I wasn’t as prepared as I like to be. Paul, in his letter to Timothy, told him to
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (2 Timothy 4:2 KJV) I’ve tried to take that advise for myself and like a good Boy Scout “Always be Prepared”.
Pastor Michele has a new sermon series, “Dining With Jesus”. Today it was “Come to the Table”.
Here is photographic proof that Ella and I attended worship this morning at Cross Tracks
Broached chicken with corn nuggets for Ella. Thighs and fries for Tom. We needed to grab a fast lunch after worship service because there was a special charge conference at church one and a half hours after church. The church has the option to purchase a small triangle of land that boarders our property. We don’t NEED it but we don’t want someone to purchase it and build something that obscures the church from the highway.
