Time to turn off the ceiling fan and raise the heat.

Day.      44⁰     Sunny brisk and much cooler with highs in the mid 40s. North winds 20 to 25 mph. Wind chill readings as low as 10 above this morning.
Night.    21°     Clear cold with lows in the mid 20s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

Grandies scored a lot of aluminum for the recyclers. I believe we will take it tomorrow.

We didn’t receive any food for the fools drive this afternoon. However, look at all the food collected in the Reverse Advent Calendar Event. Ella and I will deliver it to Operation Liberty Hill on Tuesday.

I found a Privet Hawk-Moth Caterpillar frozen solid this morning. Caterpillars: eat the leaves of privet, honeysuckle, ash, holly and garden plants such as spirea and lilac. Adults moths feed on the nectar of night-scented flowers such as honeysuckle and jasmine.
