Day. 51⁰ Sunny cooler with highs in the mid 50s. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Night. 31⁰ Clear cold with lows in the upper 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph.
Both of us sorted our pills this morning. By filling for several weeks in advance, we know when to reorder so as to not run out.
I think we are both in a state of shock. The realization that we can neither afford to repair nor replace our vehicle. I’ve tried to imagine a way to go forward without a vehicle. Ella mentally curls into a fetal position and begins to mourn all the things she sees as impossible to do without owning transportation. I’m still seeking solutions. Most of our necessities could be taken care of without us owning a vehicle. However, there are some that I can’t currently resolve without our own vehicle. Church, our various clubs, and trips to food pantries to pickup and/or deliver.
As I say, we are in shock and kind of frozen in place. We pretty much did nothing productive today.
