I slept in this morning and missed the sunrise. My cell phone, which is also my alarm clock, had shut itself of overnight.
***Don’t*** ask me, ’cause I don’t know why it shut down or why it didn’t reboot.

Yesterday I forgot to post that Ella and I stopped at the mechanic’s shop and emptied the cab portion of our dead truck. This morning we went through that stuff and found new homes for it or trashed it.

Many hours later. Wait. Wait. I just discovered two more shopping bags with miscellaneous stuff. They will have to wait now. I’ve moved on to other projects.

Deep cleaning the kitchen counters meant moving mixer, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and much much more. Soaking, scrubbing, and drying everything before moving all of the appliances back into place. Okay, I’ll admit that I didn’t move the microwave and I suspect it may be the most crumb filled and sticky spilled spot in the kitchen. It just isn’t easily moved. So I didn’t. If that bothers you, come on over and clean it yourself. Grin.

Yesterday my youngest son called to say he has Covid and must self isolate for 5 days. Today, my oldest son sent a text message saying that he has Covid. Both of them are fully vaccinated
