One of the things brought into the apartment from our dead truck was our emergency clothing. These are kept sorted in plastic bags inside duffle bags which are inturn inside waterproof construction bags. We unpacked, examined, and repacked them. Everything was just as clean and fresh as the day we first packed them about five or six years ago.

Groceries in the back of the (borrowed) pickup.

Today was our time to pickup groceries from Hill Country Community Ministries. This is a once a month boost to our food budget. There is a pantry on site, that we’ve never been in, where clients can go daily for items they need. What those items might be, I have no idea.

A hallway meeting to discuss Bible study and church services for the apartments.
The Messenger of the LORD appeared to him there as flames of fire coming out of a bush. Moses looked, and although the bush was on fire, it was not burning up. (Exodus 3:2)  This live oak appeared to be ablaze in the setting sun. Yet it was not consumed.
