Mixed precipitation expected. Minor sleet/snow accumulations on grassy areas, and ice accumulations up to a few hundredths of an inch on mainly elevated, exposed surfaces. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

A slight chance of rain freezing rain and snow in the morning, then a chance of rain, snow and freezing rain in the afternoon. Little or no snow and sleet accumulation. Ice accumulation around a trace. Much cooler with highs in the upper 30s. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent. Wind chill readings as low as 16.
Night.    27°    Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain freezing rain and snow in the evening. Cold with lows in the mid 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Wind chill readings as low as 14.

Homemade roasted potato soup for lunch. Good comfort food for an uncomfortably cold grey day.

The rain snow mix has been skirting around us all day. But it looks like something big is headed our way.
