Oh we do love Fast Track. Several games this morning after our devotions. Several more before bed time.

For lunch I made a thick and hearty pork stew. I told Ella, as we were eating, that I wished I had some parsnips to have gone in the stew. She asked if I could have used cabbage, which we have. That was a great idea. If I had thought of it, I would have removed the cabbage heart, diced it, and added to the stew. There is enough leftover stew for another meal. I might just add that cabbage heart.
What to do? What to do? Many, many, too many bananas that are ripe and overripe. Certainly there’s something other than banana bread to use these fruit. I found a recipe: oatmeal, bananas, blueberries, dates, apple juice, and walnuts. Add a little vanilla and baking powder then bake. Sounded simple. Was simple. Probably even healthy. Needed sugar. Yeah, it’s healthy.
While I had the oven hot, I baked some cookies from the dough I made yesterday. Lots of brown sugar, butter, processed flour, chocolate chips and walnuts. Not healthy. That’s why they taste so so good.

GOD BLESS
