Our second year in Texas and we were enjoying the snow. I thought it was a birthday gift specifically for me.This was our round trip to and from Granger. It actually reminded us of Granger Iowa. It difinetly is not in the Texas Hill Country. Its Iowa namesake has more of a rolling topography than here. We took a little drive around town. We found the police station, city hall, a hotel, a small grocery (?) store, a gas station, a sushis restaurant, several bars, and lots of empty buildings. The only building that looked like it was profiting was the Granger National Bank.A trip to Walgreens for Ella’s prescription. The thing is, this prescription was prescribed after a doctor visit in December. They never told Ella that anything was prescribed, nor did they actually order the prescription from the pharmacy. We called the doctor today to set an appointment for our yearly “wellness’ checkup. While we were on the phone, Ella asked about the lab-work that was done in December. If she hadn’t asked, we would never have known that she needed medication. Oops!We had time for several games this afternoon. Ella won them all. I guess it was her turn.
