Chicken pot pie for lunch. And it was good.
We received our monthly groceries today. I tried to post photos of it all, but the server kept timing out before it could load all of the photos. It’s hard to believe that with all this food, there are still things that we need to purchase from the store.
Today I crushed the aluminum cans that were donated yesterday. Crushed cans take up a whole lot less space. Three tall kitchen garbage bags plus a smaller grocery bag full of cans, after crushing fit in half of a large garbage bag We will need to store them for however long it takes to get enough poundage to make it worth the drive to the recycler. Not that we ever get enough money to cover the cost of gasoline consumed. But the gasoline is just part of Ella and my contribution to the Grandies..
