2022 February 28

Day        64⁰     Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Northwest winds around 5 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Night     40°     Mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s. Southeast winds around 5 mph, becoming southwest after midnight.

Breakfast and morning pills.

Ella waiting for the next load to come out of the dryer.

We took our games to the great room in hopes that we could find someone to join us.

But there was no one there but us.

We received a call from Kara. She is going to a doctor for pain meds in back. She hopes that, once her back isn’t hurting, she can better control the pain from the knee replacement.

We paid our rent today. It’s due tomorrow. I always have a fear of forgetting to pay it.

Day six of Bible reading. Starting today with Exodus chapter sixteen where the Israelites said, “If only the Lord had let us die in Egypt! There we sat by our pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted! You brought us out into this desert to let us all starve to death! I read through chapter twenty-eight where work was begun on the tabernacle. And Moses was command, “Put these clothes on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint them, ordain them, and set them apart to serve me as priests.”

Ella had an appointment with her oncologist. He doctor was out because of sickness. However, he kept the appointment via the computer. Ella was in his exam room and he was at home. She is doing well. Her abnormally high white blood count is back in the proper range and she doesn’t need a follow-up appointment.

We had spaghetti with hot Italian sausage for lunch. Ella had Alfredo and I had marinara.

We’re out of the dark red and out of the red. We are in the orange. But oh how I long for the green or, better yet, no need to track Covid at all.
