Ash Wednesday is a solemn reminder of human mortality and the need for reconciliation with God and marks the beginning of the penitential Lenten season. It is commonly observed with ashes and fasting.
We had a soup supper at church tonight followed by the worship service and the marking of the forehead with ashes from last year’s Easter palm boughs.

We went used car shopping. It’s very disheartening. Trying to find a vehicle that I can comfortably drive and afford.
While in the neighborhood, we stopped at Walmart for a few items.
Frozen lasagna for Ella and chicken pot pie for Tom (microwaved) for lunch.
Day eight behind work Leviticus chapter one where the laws regarding sacrifices is given. The Bible was read through Leviticus chapter fourteen where the procedure that a person who has been cured of leprosy good through to be declared clean by the priest.
