The first Grandies meeting of this year. The first Grandies meeting in a long time. There were only four of us. And Ella and I had to cut it short so that we could gett to the doctor’s appointments.
Our annual Medicare wellness appointments were scheduled quite awhile ago. At that time we were told that we couldn’t do them together, as we have in the past. Ella’s was scheduled for 11:30 and mine for 1:30. When we arrived for Ella’s this morning, we were told that we could do them both now. Cool!
I took a handful of prescriptions to Walgreens today. I’m switching from the VA pharmacy to Walgreens. Our new insurance leaves us with zero co-pay on nearly all of our meds … if purchased at Walgreens.
Today’s reading began with 1 Samuel 29 “Now the Philistines gathered all their forces at Aphek, while the Israelites were encamped by the fountain that is in Jezreel.” This reading ended with 2 Samuel 12,. “Thus he did to all the cities of the Ammonites. Then David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.“
Lunch at home today was quickly pulled together thanks to having two Instapot’s. One to air-fry some fish sticks and one to stream some cabbage. Oh yes … and a can of cling peach slices in heavy syrup.
