Today is Ella’s day two photographing the Easter Bunny. When asked how she liked photographing the bunny, she replied, “It’s been very slow, do, it’s … you know.”
Zeus must have known that we were leaving and not coming back for the foreseeable future, ’cause he laid across my lap for two hours up to our leaving. I love him too.
I just read that my friend Cephus passed away yesterday. Dementia had taken him a piece at a time, a memory at a time, over the last few years. That’s why I fear dementia more than death. Please keep the Lack family in your prayers for comfort and peace and travel mercies as the family gathers.

I dropped Ella off this morning at about 10:45 near the entrance to the theaters. I pick her up outside Dillard’s at 5:00.
She hadn’t eaten since breakfast so I asked what she wanted for supper. “Grilled cheese.” So grilled cheese she received.
I forgot about the time change. The sun isn’t setting at six thirty anymore.
