Ella began the laundry last night and completed once we returned from church. Normally that is a Monday chore. However, with her working on Mondays until after Easter, she wanted to get it done beforehand.


Among the practices of the earliest Methodists was the asking of one another a series of twenty-one (or twenty-two) questions intended to strip away pretense, expose the motives of the heart. and lead toward a holiness.
Our adult Sunday school class, the F.R.O.G.s (Fully Rely On God) is in week three. Today’s discussion was a great segway from our study of the Lord’s Prayer and back into the 21 questions.
Last week’s Lord’s Prayer study was on “lead us not into temptation”. Question 3 of the Wesley study is “Do I insist upon doing something about which my conscience is uneasy?”
Next week’s question is “Did the Bible live in me today?”

This reading started with 2 Chronicles 24 with “Joash was seven years old when he became king in Jerusalem.” I read through 2 Chronicles 36 where “Cyrus king of Persia says: “ ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.“ Day 33
