Showers with a chance of with lows in the lower 60s. South winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
Severe thunderstorms are expected across portions of the central and southern Great Plains and Lower Missouri Valley Tuesday evening into early Wednesday morning.
WIND ADVISORY in effect from  1 PM this afternoon to 4 AM CDT Wednesday. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected. The highest gusts are likely later this evening into the overnight hours.
Today began with Ella visiting the urologist. Well … maybe visiting isn’t quite the correct terminology here.
From the urologist we took an unusual route suggested by Google. It took us through backways and neighborhoods. We missed a whole lot of the morning traffic, which is a very good things. We arrived at the mall over an hour before Ella needed to be there. Getting into the mall was easy. But it was kinda surreal being there when nothing – not even the food court was open.
I made it back to the apartment in time to spend maybe a half hour having coffee with friends in the great room.
I polished our table with furniture oil.

I took about an hour reading through today’s section. It is a great help to have an audio of the section at the same time I’m reading it.
Today’s reading begins with Nehemiah 1 The words of Nehemiah while in the citadel of Susa. I finished Nehemiah at chapter 13 where Nehemiah prayed “Remember me with favor, my God.” Day 35
We have put applications in at several public housing places. One of the more annoying things about it is the fact you have to renew the application every the months or your name is removed from the waiting list. Today I spent a great deal of time on the road just to gather the renewal forms.
