Again this morning, Ella triumphed over me at the game of fast Track.

Today was a day of houseeork for me. My bride is working at the mall so I must earn my keep. I cleared and cleaned the kitchen counters (more work than it sounds like). All but the bathroom were swept and mopped. The patio decluttered and swept.

I was going to scrub the flag themed vinyl tablecloth, that has covered the table on the patio. However, it was sun faded and weather cracked. So, I threw it away. I also folded the table down and stored it away.
Both ice chests that were stored under that table are now in Dasher the HHR in preparation for gathering in our monthly food allotment on Monday morning. I left a pile of papers unsorted and not filed away. It is still on my To-Do list.

I never know how the traffic will be when I go to get Ella. Because I never want to be late arriving, I sometimes (like today) arrived quite early. So I sit in Dillard’s parking lot and read or write.

As a break from our usual cereal supper, we had scrambled eggs with Colby Jack cheese.
