We observed a Sabbath by resting, studying, and doing no work other than preparing our meals.

Day.    rain 20%     85⁰     Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the lower 90s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
Night.    rain 20%     62⁰     Cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows in the mid 60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
SEVERE STORM RISK Sat 8:00 AM to Sun 7:00 AM There is a Marginal Severe Storm Risk for our location. Continue reading for today’s outlook from the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center. Surface 11Z analysis showed a cold front across parts of the Permian Basin region of west TX. The low should shift southeastward to east TX today, with the front reaching south-central/ southwest TX by 00Z. By 12Z, a weaker version of the low should be located with cold front across southeast/deep south TX and eastern/northern Coahuila.

I season my French toast with pumpkin pie spice.

I sliced a large baking potato into four slabs. They were seasoned with pepper, seasoning salt, and paprika and fried in bacon grease.

Once the potato was well browned on both sides, I layered it with Swiss cheese sandwiched between layers.

The bacon continued to cook until crisp.

Fried potato with Swiss cheese, bacon, and raisin French toast for breakfast this morning.

Coffee with friends at the apartments this morning. There were more people that attended than in these photos. I just didn’t think about taking pictures until some had left.
