This morning at coffee time the discussion was on the new requirement for the residents to have parking permit stickers on their vehicle’s windshield. This, supposedly it’s to control parking at the apartments. However, the real problem is lack of parking places. With over two hundred and fifty apartments, even if no one has more than one vehicle (as some do) there are just physically too few parking spaces. No workable solution was offered up.

Day 56
This was produce day for us. As usual we received more than we could reasonably use. We in turn donated a box full of food (peanut butter, tuna, pasta, rice, pinto beans, tomato sauce, canned vegetables, fresh celery, carrots, zucchini, and squash) to the food pantry here in the apartments. When we delivered our donation, it was nice to see that others had also made donations.
The movie shown in the in-house theater was “Dream Horse“. It is a 2021 sports drama and real-life story of a Welsh racehorse called Dream Alliance. Ella and I watched the trailer on YouTube and decided to not watch it
