***I never*** saw the lightening, but I sure heard the thunder. I’m curious as to how much rain we’ve had this morning. Sometimes it came down quite heavily.

Day. rain 90%. 73° Showers and thunderstorms. Cooler. Near steady temperature in the mid 60s. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Night rain 70% 55° Cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms likely mainly in the evening. Lows in the mid 50s. North winds around 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

***For*** some reason the washing machine takes a l.o.n.g time to do a load. We usually have only one or two loads. However, it becomes an all day chore. Now, part of that is caused by the fact that clothes sometimes sit in the washing machine without being moved to the dryer, while we are doing other things.

***Lunch*** was BBQ shredded chicken and Swiss cheese sandwiches, steamed cabbage, and home cooked beets. With sliced preached for dessert.
