Daniel 9:1 In the first year of Darius son of Xerxes (a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian kingdom—
Hosea 13:16 The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.”
Ella commented that lunch wasn’t pretty. I’ll admit that the shredded carrots in the rice and sausage didn’t add much color. And the cooked cabbage was more white than green. But the home-assemble (store bought dough and canned apples) apple pie added a lot of color.
Back on Tuesday of this week I reported that I had finally gotten the prescription for my 2mg warfarin straightened out. I was wrong. When I picked up the 90 day prescription (which should have been for 110 tablets) it contained 51.
Instead of calling Walgreens or the insurance company I called the Coumadin Clinic which issues the prescription. She sent another prescription to the pharmacy with what we hope are clearer directions. However, since I just picked up the 51 tablets, I knew that the insurance would not okay me picking up more pills until 90 days had past.
So, the clinician place an order at Walmart for a 90 day supply of both the 5 and 2mg tablets. I picked them up today and paid cash so that the insurance had no say in it. I now have an abundance of pills in reserve in-case the insurance refuses the refill or Walgreens screws it up again.
On our Thursday night bingo we’ve been using poker chips to cover the numbers on the reusable bingo cards. However, as we’ve added more players, the supply of available chips has dwindled.
While we were at Walmart this afternoon Ella purchased more poker chips. On the way home she said that the cops would be cheaper at Dollar Tree.
So we stopped at Dollar Tree for poker chips. There were no chips to be found but she bought two packs of checkers. They should do in a bingo emergency.
