Thursday is when we normally gather at OTHG. However, now through the end of May, the city is using the building. We will gather again the first Thursday of June.

Day 72

This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day and our Grandies group will be selling cookies to raise money for our Greeting Card Ministry.

I had to withdraw some cash with which to make change at the cookie sale. So the credit union was my first stop for the day.

I drove into Austin to purchase a TxTag for discounts on toll road fees. During the Santa season I drive the toll road a lot to assure arriving at the set in a timely manner. It went extremely quick. Much to my surprise from dealing with government run facilities.

Our personal cook, Marie Callender, made chicken pot pies for our lunch.

This afternoon there were seven or eight folks gathered for afternoon coffee.

It became an interesting evening.
