We had biscuits with sausage gravy and fried eggs for breakfast. The biscuits came from a mix and we dry and crumbly. We have one more packet of the mix. When I make the next one I’ll incorporate butter or oil to possibly make it less crumbly. That’s the plan anyway.

I think that the were around twenty people at this morning’s coffee gathering. Tomorrow an afternoon lunch was scheduled for those who had no Mothers’ Day plans. That appears to be us this year.

Green beans, spicy chicken sandwich, and white cheddar and shells for lunch. Fun fact: did you know cheddar is naturally white and food coloring is added to give it more eye appeal? It works for me. These white cheddar shells look quite unappetizing, right?


I received some junk mail in a large white envelope. Thank you world for the doodling paper.

The heat index only reached 97° rather than the 107° predicted high. This is not a complaint.
