Day 79
Acts 1:1 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach
Acts 6:15 All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

Coffee was at 2:00 today and only a handful gathered for fellowship and conversation. I left early because of the overpowering perfume. Evidently management is using it near the entrance to make the place more welcoming. However, many fresheners, potpourri, perfumes, and cleaning products can trigger migraines in me. So I didn’t stay long at the coffee gathering.

Ella’s pill sorting day. Once every three weeks for her and every four weeks for me. The sorters help us keep better track of when we take our meds. Ella has mornings and nights. I have some that must be taken with food. So mine are breakfast and dinner as well at bedtime.

Ella’s pill sorting led to a visit to the pharmacy at Walgreens. I must wait until the sixteenth to reorder my meds or the insurance gods will deny them. Perhaps this time around they will fill the orders correctly and I won’t run short on meds before the refill date. Both the warfarin and the allopurinol have not been correct since we switched to Walgreens in January. Over a decade ago I had quit using the Walgreens in Iowa because of orders shorted, double filled, or filled with the incorrect medication. I thought it was just that store. However this store has not boosted my confidence in using Walgreens. But to receive our meds with no copay, I guess I’ll just have to put up with them. Double check and verify every order is my new mantra.

Ella needed to stop at Dollar Tree. I was glad when it was in rearview mirror. Inexpensive is one thing but cheap is something else. I guess, for bingo prizes, cheap is okay because the games are free.

I had never before noticed the emblem on the front of this postal van.

There was a good turnout for bingo this evening.
