The washing machine is misbehaving. It doesn’t always finish some of the cycles before shutting down. There’s no money in the budget for repair or replacement. Worst comes to worst there is a coin operated laundry literally over our heads on the third floor. Repairing the exhaust on the car come first, if the budget allows.

Pork medallions seasoned with pumpkin pie spice; barley with carrots, bell peppers, and celery; apple sauce; and biscuit:. that answers the question, “What’s for lunch?”
