There were at least ten of us for coffee this morning. To begin with we had no coffee or filters. I did find a coffee carafe. Someone brought a pot of coffee with them to share. Ella went to our apartment and came back with filters and some one else brought some Folgers. So we ended with two pots of coffee.
I’ll admit that I’m spoiled by Prego spaghetti sauce. Even then, I add more spices. Today I used a can of Traditional Spaghetti Sauce. Now understand this, I’m thankful that we had it. I just wish I had been able to add enough to make it better. Since I had added a pound of ground beef, I didn’t want to throw it away. However, rather than save the sauce, I washed it through a sieve and saved the meat for later use.
This was a good afternoon for reading and studying. I went through the Over The Hill Gang’s books and bylaws. I found that we need to have an election of officers this month. I worked on announcements for this week as well as a grocery list for the meal. Fried chicken and rolls are already ordered for pickup on Thursday.
