The first time driving the HHR.
First time driving at all in at least 3 years.
Tom. Yeah I even got a picture of you. What do you think of driving the car? Easy, hard, nothing?
Ella. I just got to get used to the fact that it is not the truck that has to turn.
Tom. Yeah you did take the right turns little wide and the left turns a little short sometimes. Other than that, I think you did a wonderful job.

Hill Country Community Mission
Today was our personal monthly food pickup. We had much more frozen items than we’ve had in the past. My personal favorite was the hot breakfast sausage. (Of course I can’t eat anything until sometime Tuesday afternoon or evening. I’m fasting in preparation for the laxative cleanse tonight and tomorrow morning. Colonoscopies I don’t mind. It’s the “prep”.) Fresh produce included potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, cucumbers, zucchini, bananas, and grapes. We will get more produce on June 21st. As usual we will pass things along to the food pantry in the apartments as well as the Kids Summer Snack Program through Operation Liberty Hill. We are extremely blessed and thank God for His bounty.

Kathleen M. O’Connor said in her book, Lamentations and the Tears of the World, “The first condition of healing is to bring the pain and suffering into view.”
