Jesus is the first victim in the history of the world to be resurrected to face his victimizers. Instead of wrath, he pours out the Spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation.

We had twenty nine at OTHG today. Ella and I arrived early to to get last minute things ready. I made the coffee (regular and decaf) and ice tea (regular and sweet). Ella made the mashed potatoes and gravy. She needed some things from the grocery store to do that, do I went shopping at Parker’s with which we share a parking lot. I then went to purchase the chicken and rolls. In the meantime Ella finished the fruit jello by choosing it with cool whip and sliced banana. The meal went well with enough for everyone but not a lot of leftover.

Lots of games were played after the meal. This is the most important part for me. I can always eat at home. But the fellowship and comradery are why I come.

After OTHG we went to the church and loaded the donated groceries into the car. We them delivered them to Operation Liberty Hill.
Once we arrived home with a now empty car, we reloaded it with all of the aluminum cans that we collected. Possible tomorrow we take them to the recycler.

Thursday two o’clock coffee with friends became a sales pitch for a Medicare insurance. I wasn’t interested so I left. I took a short nap before Thursday night bingo.

We had nineteen come to play bingo tonight. That may be the most we’ve had.
