We took our load of aluminum cans to the recycler in Jarrell this morning. Grandies earned trying one dollars that way.

We drove directly from the recycler in Jarrell to Leander United Methodist Church for the monthly 50+ meal.

We were the first to arrive. We chose a table near the front so that I had a better chance of hearing what the speaker had to say.

I found out more than I’ve ever known about Oak Wilt today at the 50+ luncheon. And, since I don’t own any oak trees, I don’t think I’ll ever have use of the information. I can’t let it go to waste. I’ll need to work it into the conversation somehow. “Speaking of oak trees, did you know…”

A visit to Dollar Tree to purchase prizes for Thursday night BINGO. Thankfully, it isn’t our money. This is money people have donated toward prizes rather than donating prizes.
It was another busy morning and into mid day today.

As it turns out, we are all caught up in the cycle of violence – victims and victimizers alike. Someone has to free us – free both sides from the resentment that binds us together in a mutually destructive relationship.
