Have you ever been somewhere when fifteen people are all talking at once? That was what was going on today. People were frustrated because they couldn’t hear the one person they wanted to listen to. And other people were frustrated because they were trying to speak and were not given the chance. I left. There was nothing I had to contribute and if anything of importance to me was being said, I couldn’t hear it.

Pinto beans and cornbread for lunch. The beans were leftover from what I made for the Over The Hill Gang’s Thursday luncheon. The cornbread was from a mix.

Kara called this afternoon and talked for about a half an hour. She was on her way to work. This is her weekend off, which means that she gets a fifty dollar bonus for working today. She is also working Sunday which gives her a one hundred dollar bonus. She had to deplete her savings to rent a place for her, a daughter, and a granddaughter. In a few more months she will retire and go to England for six to nine months.

Filling Ella’s pill sorter for the next couple of weeks.

An erroneous email was sent to the apartment residents stating that there would be bingo tonight at six o’clock. Ella and I went to the community room and set up for bingo, just in case people actually showed up. Three did. However, we closed up shop and came home.
