However, there are
things I must do today.
We went to Walmart and bought supplies for the Over The Hill Gang’s Thursday meal. I also bought some conferment and sugar that we were out of. The is enough pinto beans for three or four more meals.
From Walmart we went to Burger King for lunch.
We took our lunch with us to the OTHG building where we unloaded the groceries and put them on shelves, in the refrigerator, or freezer.
The air conditioning was not working in the building. Our Village people had called the city. I hope they have it fixed by Thursday.
When we arrived at the doctor’s, we had to go to the back door. They checked oxygen level, temperature (100.3°), did a throat swab, and a nasal swab. The symptoms are general enough that it could be anything from Covid, strep, our any number of respiratory illnesses. We had to wait about ten minutes to find out that we have Covid. So we will be self quarantined for five days
Doing theology from below is to turn our eyes to the human one. And learn to see through those eyes. It was Stanley Hauweras who said, “We can only act within the world we see.”
