Day 98° Sunny hot with highs around 100. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph becoming east with gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Night 76° Mostly clear in the evening then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph becoming west with gusts up to 20 mph after midnight.
I truly hate to see this l latest risk level increase. However, I can’t say that I’m surprised. Both Ella and I just recently recovered from it. Plus two of our friends also have had it currently have it.
God’s Guitar Gently Weeps
After church we stopped at the OVER THE HILL GANG building to check on supplies for Thursday and beyond.
Deuteronomy 5:32b
[Moses said:] “Be sure that you do everything that the LORD your God has commanded you. Do not disobey any of his laws.”
Reflect
As the Israelites were about to enter and occupy the land that God was giving them, they were told to obey God’s laws. Why was this important? Is obeying God’s laws relevant for life today?
