Reflect
When the Israelites were preparing to occupy Canaan, they were told to defeat the people who occupied the land. Total destruction was intended in order to remove temptations that would cause the people to turn their backs on the LORD. Are there temptations today that cause people to turn away from God?
Our washing machine has been iffy lately. Sometimes it works and sometimes it only half works, not doing a full final spin cycle. That leaves the clothes coming out very wet. We received a text from Jenny and Arik this afternoon. They have a man lined up for tomorrow morning to bring a different washing machine and take away the old. So tonight I moved the washer out of it’s cubbyhole. The space is so tight that the washing machine has to go in first. It then has to be slid sideways behind the lip of the wall. Then the dryer can be wedged in beside it.
That’s it. That’s the sum total of my accomplishments today.
