Day        103°     Sunny hot with highs around 104. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
Night     76°     Clear. Lows in the upper 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

The dogs were running around and around the yard at full tilt … Until I tried to video it. I was impressed at how fast Zeus could run.

Judges 15:9-20
Today’s Key Verse: Judges 15:14b
Suddenly the power of the LORD made him strong, and he broke the ropes around his arms and hands as if they were burnt thread.
Reflect
Yesterday’s reading informed us that Samson was chosen to rescue Israel from the Philistines (13:5) and that the LORD’s power began to strengthen him (13:25). How did Samson defeat the Philistines?

After breakfast at the house we went home. The cereal bowls I ordered through Amazon were waiting at our door. They are slightly lighter than our few remaining bowls. That is neither a good thing nor a bad thing,  merely an observation. Once unpacked they were placed in the dishwasher.

Before leaving the apartment, I gathered together several things for Thursday’s lunch at Over The Hill Gang lunch. That included the insta pot

We were out and about so, went to the Georgetown senior center for lunch and had a chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato on a croissant. There was also pea salad, chips, and a fruit cup

We also received a loaf of bread and an apple pie. The pie will be added to the Thursday meal at OTHG.

We were sitting in the kid’s home playing Fast Track when Ella said, “It’s Monday night, that’s Game Night at the apartments.” So I quickly feed the dogs and loaded our game into the car.

We made it to the apartments and played Fast Track with Eleene until a little after seven. Each of us won at least one game. With all of the various games going, I believe that, at a minimum, there were twenty-two people tonight.

We had been in the pool for just a short time when Ella said, “Oh, we’ve got to get the trash out. ‘ So, dutiful husband that I am, I got it of the pool and dressed. Then I took the trash out to the street. It wasn’t until I was dressed for bed, and taking my bedtime pills, that I was reminded that this is Monday night. The trash doesn’t go out until Tuesday night. I hope it will be alright ’cause I’m not going back out tonight.

I won’t be doing much moving around tonight. Definitely no thrashing around.
