What instructions are given for those who make a special vow to become a Nazirite?

I have fallen behind on the 31 days of readings. I still have 3 days to go. However, I am also starting an 11 day devotional reading with the aim of becoming more like Jesus.

By reading through the four accounts of Jesus life and ministry in the gospels, we noted every time Jesus practiced or taught on a particular discipline or habit. We found five patterns that we believe were taught and practiced more than any others.

🎵 Oh, oh, O’Rile’s auto parts. 🎶 That was our first destination this morning. I purchased the brake light bulb and replaced the burnt out bulb.

From O’Rile’s we went to the Over The Hill Gang building to drop off some food items that I didn’t want to leave in the car while we were at Grandies.

We arrived at Cross Tracks Church at around nine o’clock for Grandies. Grandies doesn’t start until ten. However, I also wanted to add a question and some scripture verses on the white board. (Grandies and the F. R. O. G. adult Sunday school class share the same room.)

There were three for our meeting today, Wanda, Ella, and I. Anne needed to be home for the telephone repair people to come and fix the phone line that was cut by the crews doing road repair. Charlotte had planned to come before her doctor told her that she needed to go in and see him. Anyway the three of us finished the meeting and played canasta until noon.

From the church we went back to the OTHG building to do prep work for tomorrow’s lunch. I had veggies to blanch and slice. Then there was the large red onion that needed dicing. I’ll admit to a little apprehension with handling it. I have severe allergic reaction to eating onions. I want sure if external contact would trigger any kind of response. It didn’t. While I was prepping the meal, Ella was getting treats and plates reading for in the morning. We finished there about one thirty.

We needed to stop at Operation Liberty Hill to deliver a donation check.

Our puttmobile needed gas so we went to Walmart where we can save ten cents a gallon using the Walmart Plus app. I also remembered that I hadn’t purchased candles for our birthday cake. So into the store I went.

It was somewhere between 4:30 & 5:00 when we returned to the house and dogs. They were happy to go outside. They were less happy that I shut the door behind them. I wanted to make sure they had taken FULL ADVANTAGE of their bathroom break before coming back in. While they were out, I filled their water and feed bowls. When I allowed them in and they found food waiting, I think I was forgiven for kicking them out.

After both people and dogs had been fed, the people went for a swim. I use the term swim very loosely here. It was more floating and soaking than flaying of arms and kicking off legs.
