Day 99º Partly cloudy this morning then clearing. Hot with highs around 102. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
Night 76° Mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Highest heat index readings up to 105 early in the evening.

We were there in plenty of time to start the potatoes cooking, the potato toppers, salad, beans, and apples all set out. And the tables set up. Plus all the little lady minute details.

The potatoes turned out perfect. Cooked two hours at 450°in two roaster pans.

The lunch turned out well without a lot of leftovers. We got a lot of positive feedback on everything.
