Our first stop at 8:15 was Over The Hill so that I could assemble the King Ranch Chicken casserole for tomorrow. In the morning I will place it into the oven to heat through and brown the cheese topping. I also prepared the ice tea and put it into the refrigerator for tomorrow. Ella decided to not make jello. We will have spiced pears instead.
We arrived at Cross Tracks Church for our weekly Grandies meeting at about nine forty-five. Anne, Wanda, Ella, and I were there. After the meeting, we played canasta until nearly one o’clock.
Our intrepid heros returned home to a lunch of reheated leftovers and then napped away the afternoon.
