Around ten o’clock we went to the community room for coffee and conversation. It was after eleven when we went back to the apartment. The “big concern de jour” was about a car that had been parked in a handicapped spot for several weeks without moving. The local busybody was concerned that the car may be stolen and abandoned there. Others were more concerned for the well-being of the (assumed) resident that hasn’t been around in several weeks. Ella brought it to the attention of management so that they could do a welfare check. You hear stories of people trapped, injured, or dead in their apartments with no one noticing their absence.
Youngest daughter, Heather, came over for lunch and games and stayed until nearly six. She also took us to Whipped Bakery & Cafe for baked goods and drinks. I took no photos while she was here. We were having too much fun. That is the longest time I’ve spent with this child of mine in years.
