Carlisle, lowa • Tuesday, September 06
Day 81° Areas of fog this morning. Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 80s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.
Leander, Texas • September 07
Night 72° Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 70s. East winds around 5 mph becoming west after midnight.

Shortly after 10:00am we said goodbye to Linnea and thanked her for putting up with us and for putting us up for a week.

11:30am We stopped by John’s work to tell him goodbye on our way out of town.

On the way out of Des Moines we saw this mural at E16th & Grand.

At about 2pm we arrived at the cemetery in Agency Iowa. Ella wandered looking for relatives.

After Agency, we drove the hundred miles or so to Prescott Iowa so that I could find some of my family.

6:45pm crossed into Missouri

7:20pm sundown somewhere in Missouri.

At 7:59pm we stopped at a Burger King in St. Joseph Missouri for a purity break and supper.

918pm welcome to Kansas

We pulled into a service area on the Kansas turnpike at ten twenty so that I could update the blog and take a nap.
