OVER THE HILL GANG
We had a micro board meeting this morning. Merle, Ella, and I discussed some concerns with one employee of Our Village who doesn’t understand that this is our building and everything in it, with the exception of items they have purchased and installed in the northwest room, being to Over The Hill. We also discussed the contract that I received via email. The were changes we feel need to be made in the contract before it will be signed.
After our meeting we drove to the doctor’s for lab work. I noticed that the rest driver’s side tire was nearly flat. So, when done with the doctor, we stopped at QuikTrip to air the tire.
Once the tire was inflated we went to a very busy Lamb’s Tires, where we sat for four and a half hours. (Partially due to lunch breaks) The tire was unrepairable and they didn’t have the proper size replacement on hand. They located one at another store and sent someone to get it. Once it arrived the mounting, balancing, and installation took less time than figuring the amount due, taking payment, and printing the receipt.
Do you remember that fasting lab this morning? We hadn’t eaten since about seven or seven thirty last night. We arrived at IHOP about five-thirty. By rough estimate that’s about twenty-two hours and we were hungry.
