Day 92° Mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers this afternoon. Highs in the mid 90s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.
Night 70° Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.

This is a great prayer with which to start my day.

We delivered all of these grocery bags (paper and plastic) to Hill Country Community Ministries this morning. They are constantly in need of bags.
We came away with a wagon full of groceries. I didn’t take a photo.
Once we unloaded the groceries at home, we reloaded all of those aluminum cans.

Yeah, all of those cans. And I went to the recycling center in Jarrell. Remember, that’s where we were headed yesterday when the car stalled from trying to run on a gasoline water mixture. Today I made it there. Ella chose to stay home. She said it was too put the groceries away. I think she just didn’t want to get stranded again. 😁

I made a little side trip to pick up baking pans and pots at Over The Hill Gang. That way I can do all of the cooking at home rather than go to the OTHG building on Wednesday.
Then I finally unloaded the food and items for the food bank / thrift store at Operation Liberty Hill.
Finally it was home time. After some quick sliced ham sandwiches, it was time for we to take some Tylenol and a nap.
This evening we went to Adam and Leigha’s house for supper and a visit.
