Only four of us for Grandies today. We need to do something to get this organization going and growing again. This is a ministry, a service group. But it can’t keep continuing this way. It is becoming more of a club than a ministry. I don’t know. Maybe it has run it’s course and should be allowed to die, if it is no longer relevant.

We arrived home at 12:45. We had to be at the doctor’s by 2:00 so I need to come up with something for lunch at quickly. I thought there were some ham steaks thawed in the frig. They turned out to be thin sliced ham. So I filled them up with some swiss cheese and flash fried them to make Ham and Swiss cheese rolls. I had started some water boiling to make Mac and cheese. We need a vegetable or fruit. We had some individual cartons of apple sauce. We were out of the apartment and on our way by 1:35.

We made it to the doctor’s office with six minutes to spare.

We were at the doctor’s for a check up. And results of our blood work. Both of our results were good. My PSA is elevated – but we knew that already. That’s why they are going to biopsy my prostate on the 20th. My vitamins D is slightly low. Time to start taking my vitamins again.
I have had recurring diarrhea as a side effect of one of my medications. I asked to try something else. And we shall. I also asked for something for my itching ears – maybe I can keep my fingers out of them.
Ella requested to pee in a cup. She has a history of developing a urinary tract infection while traveling. We had just completed a round trip of nearly two thousand miles. So she thought it prudent to have it checked out.

Ella will also be scheduled for a routine mammogram.

We also received our yearly flue shot.
From doctor’s office to Walmart. From Walmart to Walgreens. From Walgreens to home.
Once home, I mixed up a gihugent baking pan of cornbread. I also started both instapots slow cooking ham and beans for lunch at Over The Hill tomorrow.
