Paul Harvey always began his Friday News and Comment by saying in an upbeat voice, “Good morning America! It’s Friday!” Since retirement, Friday no longer means the end of the work week. Nor does it mean the beginning of the weekend. Everyday is like a weekend. Today, however, was a day with no obligations, no appointments, not even scheduled coffees or clubs. It was a day to do nothing and we did it all day. As a matter of fact, we might even have some nothing left over for tomorrow. 😁
