We had a Taco casserole for lunch to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
We voted to make some changes in the organization’s bylaws. We unanimously voted to create an Auxiliary membership for the underage spouse, life partner, or caregiver of a member. The Auxiliary members have all rights of membership with the exception of voting or holding office. Also using email, social media, and it website to disseminate information rather than the newspaper, is now approved. And a minor change to the semiannual mandatory board meeting changed from Saturdays to Thursdays.
We played games after lunch
42 the domino game. Not to be confused with the answer to life, the universe, and everything. (Only readers of “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” will understand that reference.)
