Day 88⁰ Sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. North winds 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast with gusts up to 20 mph this afternoon.
Night 60° Clear. Lows in the upper 50s. Northeast winds around 5 mph.
We had the outside door open this morning. It was in the low sixty degrees.
Ella had an appointment with her doctor today. We arrived before the office was even open.
Ella received a good report on her lab work.
We then drove to Restaurant Depot to get a business membership for Over The Hill Gang. That will allow us to stop in bulk on items we need.
I didn’t see anything that we needed to purchase at Restaurant Depot today. I considered going to Sam’s Club but decided that Walmart would get us what we need for this week’s lunch on Thursday.
We took the slaw, chips, and potatoe salad to OTHG. The meat and barbeque sauce came home with us. The pork will be allowed to slow cook overnight and be “pulled” after it is completely done.
The Tuesday morning coffee group was still going when we arrived at OTHG.
This afternoon Ella received a call that her stepbrother, Kent Baker, had passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. He had been in failing health for sometime now. He was great guy with an easy laugh. He will be missed.
We played Mexican train dominoes this evening with friends in the community room at the apartments. I left before the last three rounds were played. My back was bothering me.
