The F. R. O. G. class continued our study of the Letter to the Hebrews. We had a traveler named Tony Robbins (not the Tony Robbins) visit our class today. He was on a mission of mercy to bring his daughter and grandson from Georgia to Texas. He stopped to ask for prayers. He received our prayers and some gas money.

CROSS TRACKS CHURCH October 2, 2022 sermon by Pastor Michele Lott

For an hour after church, we collected a few items for the Operation Liberty Hill food pantry. We also ended up with five or six large bags (not shown) of aluminum cans to recycle.

We received a text from a grandson asking if we were going to take him to work. I called him rather than texting “No.” I asked if he needed us to take him to work. I heard him asking his sister if she was going to take him to work. She said “No.” His mother had asked if we could bring him home after work and we had agreed. Though also taking him to work wasn’t on our schedule, it didn’t interfere with our plans so I told him that we could be there shortly.
When we arrived he and a couple of friends were playing video games (I’m guessing here because they were upstairs and I don’t do stairs unless I have no choice.)

We ended up taking all three boys and a flat screen TV to his job. With the back of the car full of cans, I was glad we had room for all of them. The TV had to ride on their laps though. Three and a half hours later I picked him up from work. His friends parents were picking them up.
